CCCAA, ELAC to Begin Sports in January July 9, 2020 Due to rising COVID-19 case numbers - along with the state having to roll back reopening plans - the CCCAA has decided ahead of its July 17th board meeting to implement a modified Contingency plan to push ALL fall sports back to January 2021. The rise in coronavirus cases means that California will not likely approach Phase 4 of it's reopening plans, a metric that the CCCAA board was relying upon to continue to pursue some startup of fall sports in late August/September.
