The 2019 All-South Coast Conference Softball Teams were selected at Rio Hondo College yesterday, with five Huskies earning honors. First baseman and freshman Puatausaga Johnson (picture: top-right) was named to the All-SCC North First Team, powered by a .460 batting average with 26 RBI, 4 HR, eight doubles and a .522 on-base percentage.

Sophomore third baseman Jennifer Rivera (pictured: bottom right) - .296 batting average, eight doubles, 14 RBI.
Sophomore pitcher Majisty Shomo (pictured: top left) was named as an Honorable Mention. She has pitched over 100 innings and has filled in admirably as the team battled injuries to their other pitchers.

With the regular season completed, ELAC awaits word on whether they will qualify for postseason play. The Huskies finished with a record of 19-19 on the season, going 18-11 in March and April after starting the first 30 days of the season 1-8.
