3B Lily Stell, coming back into the game after being injured an inning earlier, hit a go-ahead grand slam with 2-out in the top of the 7th inning to save East LA from falling completely out of playoff contention. The Huskies would go on to defeat the LA Harbor Seahawks 7-5

East LA Softball defeated Rio Hondo College in what was viewed as a "must-win" game for the Huskies to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Leading Antelope Valley 3-2 with one out in the top of the seventh, the Huskies failed to record an out on a fielder's choice. The Mauraders would then hit back to back doubles to take the lead and ultimately hang on for the win.

Continuing our Ask A Husky article series, we stop in with ELAC Softball to chat with sophomore first baseman Puatausaga "Pua" Johnson. Ms. Johnson was hitting .407 with 16 RBIs in 17 games for the 12-6 Huskies when play was suspended.
