ELAC Women’s Basketball Graduates Two Golden Eagle-bound Standouts

East Los Angeles College held its 2019 Commencement ceremonies today, with several student-athletes walking the stage to celebrate graduating and moving on in their collegiate careers. The Huskies women's basketball team held a special event after Commencement for its two graduating sophomores - JaeLynn Curley and Jennifer Pool. A special ceremonial signing table was set up for the two to celebrate their accepted four-year offers to CSU Los Angeles with their families along with the coaching staff.

  • Curley earned All-South Coast Conference (SCC) North First Team honors by averaging 13.9 points and 3 assists per game this season. She made 92 3-pt field goals, and her 3-pt shooting percentage 42.2 led the entire conference. Her family made the trek all the way from her hometown of Ganado, AZ to help her celebrate.

Both ladies are set to join the Golden Eagles in the fall.
