Tessa Troglia enters her twelfth year as the Women's Soccer head coach at East Los Angeles College.  She led the Huskies to their first ever playoff appearance in the history of the program in 2009, and three subsequent playoff appearances while being named South Coast Conference "Coach of the Year," in 2013 & 2016. In addition to coaching at ELAC, Troglia is the girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach at La Serna High School.  She has been instrumental for leading her team to 13 conference championships, and two CIF Championships.

Additionally, she works with Cal South in the Coaching Education Department, and also served as a coach for the Olympic Development Program (ODP).  She also currently works with Nevada ODP.  Troglia currently serves as the Director of Coaching (DOC) for CDA Slammers FC in Whittier, where she is one of four female DOC's in Southern California, with over 60; which has prompted her to join forces with Cal South and serve on the Women's Committee with several high profile female coaches in California to advocate the advancement of more female coaches in the sport.

Before joining ELAC, she served as an assistant coach at Cerritos College. In 2007, she helped lead the Falcons to winning their first ever National Championship.

Coach Troglia played collegiately for Cal State University of Los Angeles (CSULA) where she earned her BS in Business Marketing. After college, she played professionally in the women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for Rampage FC and LAFC, as well as overseas for Division I women's professional team F.C. Girona in Spain. She possesses her USSF 'B' coaching license. She also earned Master's of Science in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific.

She lives in nearby Whittier with her fiancé Andy Rea, two dogs (Buster & Bell), and son Mason.
