South Coast Conference Honors Two Athletes

South Coast Conference Honors Two Athletes

The 2012 season proved to hold true to the chosen theme, “Transforming a Program, Building for the Future, and Molding Champions!” The 2012 team took hold of the principles taught and made monumental strides. The ladies found themselves learning new strategies, began playing rhythmically, and competed with the best in the league. In recognition of the hard work and game improvement skills, two of the Lady Huskies were awarded 2nd Honors in the South Coast Conference.

Jessica Delgado and Claudia Mosqueda were the two ladies who received Conference 2nd Honors.

Jessica Delgado (Sophomore) earned 236 Kills, 95 Digs, 32 Blocks, 32 Assists, and 34 Aces for the season. Concluding the spring term, Jessica plans to attend either Cal Lutheran, Fresno State, or Azusa Pacific University. There, she will continue playing volleyball and will pursue a degree in Kinesiology/Sports Science.

Claudia Mosqueda (Sophomore) 202 Kills, 83 Digs, 31 Blocks, 28 Assists, and 13 Aces for the season. Claudia plans to attend LaVerne University, where she will continue playing volleyball and will pursue a degree in Sports Science/Nursing.

Congratulations! We, the Husky family, look forward to supporting these young ladies and wish them well with their future endeavors.
