Former assistant coach Miguel Soto has been officially named Head Coach of East Los Angeles College's Wrestling program. He will be only the third ever coach of the program which began in 1968.

Although ELAC Softball was unable to see the field for 2021, it still was able to successfully transfer at least one of its players. Sophomore Elizabeth Ayala accepted her scholarship offer from Finlandia University.

Hosting LA Valley College in a doubleheader scrimmage, East Los Angeles College Baseball is the first team to host a game on campus since the COVID shutdown that began in March of 2020. It has been 15 months since the any of the teams and campus has hosted any level of organized competition.

During the COVID pandemic, women's soccer head coach Tessa Troglia realized she needed to expand her ability to impact the lives of students to beyond the soccer field. She leaves ELAC after 12 seasons to not only take over Cerritos' women's soccer program, but to teach more in the classroom.
